When you open up the dashboard on the left panel, you’ll see a handy search bar that shows a list of available species in a tree format. You can easily browse through the species or just type in what you’re looking for if you prefer a quick search! The map view gives you a nice visual of where observations have been made. Plus, you can dive deeper into related descriptions, literature, and media, and even listen to any available sound calls linked to the species. Enjoy exploring!

IBIS has an app for collecting species observations, and you can find it right on the homepage of our website! Just click on the link, and it will take you to the app stores where you can download it easily and sign up. When you log into the app, just look for the "Capture Observation" tab with a camera icon on your home screen. Clicking on it will allow you to snap a new photo or pick one from your phone's gallery.
Once you've chosen, you can capture a picture or upload one. There's even a handy image cropper to help you resize it just right! Next, you’ll be asked to name your observation – you can easily select from a dropdown list of species, and there’s some extra information to fill in as well.
Once you’ve got everything set, just hit confirm to record your observation. Happy capturing!
You can upload the photographs of the observations you want to make, it will help us as well to bring users like you a better visual experience. We’re excited to let you know that our team is currently brainstorming ideas for the video feature. Stay tuned for updates!

Please go ahead and open “My observation list” and select the observation you want to Edit or Delete by clicking on the three dots on the image card.

Here, you’ll find a few simple options to fill out for your project. After you add the details, you can choose whether you want your project to be Public or Private. Once you’re all set, just hit “Confirm,” and you’re good to go!
